Doctrine

Title Description
Truth & Culture As culture continues to shift according to current popular thought, Christ-followers can find themselves caught in the crosshairs of this public opinion. What do the scriptures have to say about current issues of the day? In this series, we will tackle the tough issues and see what the revealed word of God has to say. After all, it is our final authority.
Thankfulness It seems these days we move from Halloween to Christmas rushing through November like a passing telephone pole on the highway of life. Not so fast, in this two-part series we want to slow it down enough to talk about why having a thankful Spirit is so important to God and our spiritual health. Part one will concern horizontal thanksgiving. ( giving thanks in and for all things). Part two will dive into vertical thanksgiving ( giving thanks to God for who He is and what He does apart from what he does for us).
You Shall Be My Witnesses

Just before Jesus ascends into heaven, he says those last words that have echoed through the ages as a mandate for all those who would follow after him. " You shall be my witnesses" The early church understood this to be a foundational part of what it means to follow Christ, so what has happened? Is it an option? How do I do it? What will people think? In this series we hope you will be equipped and empowered to be a witness as we take a fresh look at a powerful mandate.

By Faith

True faith is essential for us to experience all God has for us in this life. We need faith in what God has said to us is true and reliable. There is the faith that results in rest for what God has and is doing as well as the faith required to entrust the future to His care. In this series, we will get to the practical implications of faith as it was lived out in the saints of old. Hebrews chapter eleven will be our text and we invite you to join us on this faith journey.

Five Solas 500 years ago a movement was started that altered church history as we know it. Martin Luther and others witnessed the church moving away from the true gospel to a gospel of works. Luther didn't know it but due to the invention of the printing press, his works would be spread far and wide in the common tongue of the people. What resulted was the movement we now know as the Reformation. Out of this movement five theological/foundational principles were developed to keep the Church on it's true course. They are known as the five Solas. Scripture alone, Grace alone, Faith alone, Christ alone, for the Glory of God alone... No better way to start 2018 then to get grounded in these truths.
Extraordinary God for Everyday Living

Jesus told his disciples, "..I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go I will send Him to you." John 16:7. There seems to be much confusion regarding the Spirit-filled life and what it looks like in our everyday lives. It's crucial that we have a firm understanding of the Holy Spirit's role and how we can walk in the power He provides. In this series we will dive into our understanding and application of Spirit Filled living.

All In

We are at a pivotal point in the life of our church. Continue on as business as usual or trust God for something greater than ourselves. We could call it our ALL IN moment. We see these types of moments in the life of the church throughout scripture. In fact, Jesus went all in for us so we can go all in for him. These ALL IN moments require faith, courage, overcoming fear and navigating through obstacles. Join us as we go ALL IN!

"Let them know that is is your hand, that you, Lord have done it." Psalm 109:27
